Overview:

In 1999, CT Telecom launched its calling card operations when it entered into an Operate and Maintain agreement with Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd. to supply international and nationwide long distance services. The interconnect agreement signed with PTCL required all calling card companies to charge the customers PTCL landline rates.

After attaining the Long Distance and International (LDI) License in the wake of the telecom de-regulation, CT Telecom was able to shift its operations onto its own platform. This has enabled it to exclusively provide its customers with international and nationwide connectivity at unbelievably low rates and high quality.

Callmate Prepaid Calling cards are available throughout Pakistan. These cards can be utilised through any digital telephones or mobiles (depending on the mobile operator) and provide users with the essential mobility they demand in a country with a low tele-density such as Pakistan. The cards can be used for Nationwide and International calls anytime and anywhere and offer users a convenient way to stay in touch by making communication simple. Callmate is available in all possible denominations and is a reputed and established brand backed by an efficient professional team. Due to the soaring demand for the calling card business ever since its inception, Callmate has achieved a high growth momentum and continues to thrive due to the professionalism and economical service it provides.

Callmate Calling Card is the market leader among all private calling card operators and maintains approximately 35-40% of a growing market share. CT Telecom currently has a rapidly increasing usage of approximately 25 million minutes (Nationwide & international) per month originating from its Calling Card operations.
